Since 1986, our company is engaged in the responsible development and exploitation of mineral resources in the Philippines. Present active mine sites are silica sand and quartz quarry located at Ayungon, Negros Oriental and reef limestone quarry at Lazi, Siquijor. Exploration for bituminous coal is on going at Bislig, Surigao del Sur.
The silica quarry produces silica sand and quartz for cement, copper smelting, and fiber cement board plants since 1994. Product size is from 0 to 35mm and the production capacity is 400,000 metric tons a year.
The limestone quarry is a joint venture
project with GIC (Holdings) Limited of Hong Kong producing crushed reef limestone as raw materials for cement and steel plants since 1998. Product size is from 0 to 120mm and the present production capacity is about 1.5 Million metric tons a year.
An application for a Coal Operating Contract over 4,000 hectares area was filed with the Department of Energy in 2009 and still under process.
